In today’s globalized world, millions migrate for work. My photo documentary, “Migration for Work,” captures the challenges, aspirations, and human spirit driving individuals across borders in search of a better future. The project spans urban centers to rural areas, documenting migrant workers’ stories. Each photo offers a glimpse into their lives, highlighting diverse reasons for migration: economic necessity, political unrest, environmental changes, or pursuing dreams. Focusing on departure points and destinations, I will capture farewells, anxiety, and hope, as well as daily lives, resilience, hardships, and socio-economic impacts. Interviews and personal narratives will provide context and depth. “Migration for Work” is a tribute to the indomitable spirit of those striving for a better life. I aim to foster understanding and empathy for migrant workers worldwide, bridging the gap between distant lives and shared humanity.
